We operate directly inside schools, providing daily mentorship, academic support, and real-world exposure that prepares students for what comes next.

Our mission is to increase college and career access for first-generation and underserved youth.
We accomplish this by combining mentorship, academic support, workforce exposure, and family stabilization into one consistent model that meets students where they are.

Where It Started
Men of Excellence was founded in 2016 by DeAndre Holt, who grew up in a community similar to the ones we serve today.
As a young person, he benefited from mentorship programs that helped shape his future.
After earning a degree in Business Finance from Alabama A&M University and building a career in finance, he returned to create that same opportunity for the next generation.
What began as a volunteer mentoring effort has grown into a structured, school-based program serving over 150 students annually across multiple schools in metro Atlanta.
